Most of the pictures and information came from a single database: The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
http://www.ushmm.org/
That's for the main site. The website has an encyclopedia, information on the permanent and temporary exhibits, even about modern day genocides. If your interested, take a look around. The Museum itself is located in Washington D.C. If you're in the area, visit and see first-hand some of the remnants of the Holocaust.

Why something on the Holocaust?
I've always been fascinated by the Holocaust. Call it morbid curiosity. The idea that a man could manipulate an entire country into believing that a race of humans was nothing but vermin is intriguing. Please, do not misunderstand. I hate that it happened. I hate that so many people died. However, I can't help but admire his intelligence and his manipulativeness.
Previously, I've done papers on the Holocaust. What it was, what happened to those in the concentration camps, how it is similar to slavery in America (there are many similarities for those curious), even a paper on how the relationship between Jews, Nazis, and Americans is similar to the mouse, cat, dog relationship (by far my favorite paper I've written). However, I had little knowledge on how people... well, how they avoided the Holocaust. How they hid and what dangers they had.
So... I chose that for my topic for this mini-documentary.
